Well worlds has come and gone and we have crowned several new world champions. Congratulations to David Feldberg and the rest of the divisional winners! We’ve got our own little set of winners over here and we would like to thank all of you that took the time to sign up for the site and provide feedback. There were A LOT of really good ideas and we plan to incorporate most of those in some way, shape or form as we move forward. Some will be ready sooner than later, but rest assured that if enough people are interested in a specific feature that we will probably be adding it as the site grows!

And now for the winners of the randomly drawn registrations:
Marc Lumos
Noah Brooks

And for the winner of the randomly drawn survey entry:
Brian Boggs

Thanks again for all of those that participated and please contact us if you are one of the winners or we will be in touch with you shortly!

You've Come to the Right Spot

Hello you, everyone, players and regular joes alike. Welcome to the “soft-launch” of iPlayDiscGolf.com, an online community for disc golfers and fans of the sport alike. I’m Dave, programmer-extraordinaire and together with Taylor we form Voltr… I mean the guys behind this website.

What is a “soft-launch”?
I refer to this as a “soft-launch” because what you see in front of you is by no means the final product. This is simply our blog and a few tools to better help us gauge interest in certain features and take suggestions. Over the course of the next couple months we’ll be bringing you content from around the disc golf scene and adding features on a regular basis. You’ll see a lot of change.

iPlayDiscGolf.com USDGC Roc Giveaway
We are giving away three 2006 USDGC Championship Collector Rocs during our initial launch through the month of August. All users that sign up for an account by September 1st, 2008 are eligible to win two of the Rocs! Just sign up for a membership here and you will be eligible to win. The third Roc will be given away to one user that fills out our survey as a thank you for helping us shape the future of the website. This gives everyone two chances to win and if you’re lucky enough, you might win both times! All winners will be randomly selected from a pool of email addresses gathered from registrations and survey submissions during the month of August.

Check out the 2008 PDGA World Championships
Last but not least, some of you may know that we’re the same guys that created the 2008 PDGA World Championships website. If you haven’t yet seen it be sure to give it a visit and if you’re in Michigan you might as well go check it out in Kalamazoo – we’ll be there!

Thank you for joining iPlayDiscGolf.com and we will see you on the course soon!
